At the start of this school year, I shared with you the importance of having a tri-partnership involving the school, parent and student with God in the middle of the partnership. Communication plays a key role in the success of every organisation. As part of continuous school improvement to enhance communication between the College and you, I am thrilled and appreciative of the following parents taking up the role of Level Parent Representatives.

The main role of the Year Level Representative parent is to facilitate and answer queries raised by other parents. They will also be a moderator for the group to manage expectations of other parents through a charter of understanding on the purpose and the existence of the year level parent grouping. In rare occasions when parents are unclear of the College’s expectations, the Level Parent Representatives will contact the Head of Lower/ Upper Primary or the Year Level Secondary Leaders to seek clarification.

I seek your understanding that the existence of the group is never meant for feedback. If you have certain feedback for the College, do contact the Deputy Principal (Primary/ Secondary) or me.

You will be invited to join the year level parents within a WhatsApp group through a QR code sent to you in a separate email and Direct Message. After you join the group, it will be good for you to introduce yourself and which class your child is studying in. By joining this group, I would assume that you have given permission for the Level Parent Representative to know your mobile number, name and class of your child. It is important to note that it is not compulsory for you to join the group although I would strongly encourage you to do so.

Through this year level grouping, I hope that we can foster a stronger community and collaboration among us.

WhatsApp Group Charter:

  1. Permission: By joining this group, it is assumed that you have given permission for the Year Level Parent Representative to know your mobile number, name and class of your child.
  2. Respectful Communication: Engage in courteous discussions. Only the Year Level Parent Representative should contact the School Leader* to seek clarification. Feedback should go to the Deputy Principal or Principal directly.
  3. Child Safety: Photos or videos of any student, including your own child, must not be shared within the group to ensure compliance with our College’s Child Safety policies.
  4. Social Invitations: Handle invitations privately to avoid exclusion.
  5. Networking: Use the group to build partnerships with other parents, and not for business or work-related activities.


As we are already in Term 4 for the school year, to minimise disruption, this group will continue as the same group with a change of group name on WhatsApp at the start of next year.


By adhering to these guidelines, we create a positive, supportive environment for all.
